Quarterly Goals

Every business leader - whether you're a solo entrepreneur or a big company CEO - will benefit from practicing a simple discipline.  Set some simple milestones, then regularly measure your own performance to see where you stand.  When you practice this simple discipline, you will quickly start to think about your business differently and will feel a stronger connection to your ability to navigate your business.
This is the first principle that I want to help our readers to put into practice.  I challenge you to start with setting a few basic target milestones that will make sense to many of you who have spent time in corporate America - quarterly targets for the rest of the year.  So, let's begin with:

• Q3 (target performance through September 30)
• Q4 (target performance through December 31)

I'm launching Founderville and will be using the same discipline.  As we move through the year, I plan to report on our progress, but more importantly, hope to be able to share with some readers their own targets and hopefully, brainstorm a bit on how to help each other achieve our objectives.
My Targets
My objectives for Founderville are as follows:

• Q3: Post at least 4 useful articles on the website, and host at least one workshop or mastermind session with other small business owners to help each other map out our growth plans and to help with challenges.
• Q4: Post at least 6 useful articles on the website, and launch the initial subscription offering for the Founderville Network.
